DECISION
THE SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT
HAVING REGARD TO Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68 ofthe Council of
29 February 1968 laying down the Staff Regulations of Officials and the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Communities, as amended by Council Regulation (EC, Euratom) No '723/2004 of 22 March 2004, and in particular Article 86 of and Annex IX to those Staff Regulations,
HAVING REGARD TO the Bureau decision of 26 October 2004 on the delegation of powers of the Appointing Authority,
HAVING REGARD 10 the general implementing provisions governing disciplinary proceedings and administrative investigations (Alticle 86 of and Annex IX to the Staff Regulations), and in particular Article 2 thereof,
HAVING REGARD TO Conclusion 245/06 of the Heads of Administration concerning the granting of a mandate by the institutions to the Investigation and Disciplinary Office of the Commission (IDOC) to carry out administrative investigations in cases where irregularities are suspected in connection with competitions organised by EPSO,
HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1:
In cases where members of selection boards fbr competitions organised by EPSO in which the European Parliament is participating are suspected of irregularities, the Appointing Authority may mandate IDOC to carry out an investigation, with due regard fbr the conditions laid down in Annex IX to the Staff Regulations and also in Commission Decision C(2004) 1588 of 28 April 2004 on the conduct of administr ative inquiries
Article 2:
This Decision shall enter into f01ce on the date on which it is signed
